    Because Xaos is the active duality to an othewise static universal hologram called reality! Xaos is whare it happens. Xaos is where shit changes. Simple algorithim, Holos (ei. pure potetiality) is unchanging = H. Xaos as the agent and method of transformation = X. Bios (ei. the biological, concsious, basic input/output system) = B. If B is unresoleved to H then impliment X. Or more simpliy if shit aint how you want it to be then utilize Xaos to fuckin change it. Simple as that.

      It is why we are here. More, it is *how* we are here.

        I like chaos because it's next to impossible to achieve and requires a high degree of control and a lot of work.

        If you attempt to let chaos happen then you will have order very quickly.

        Chaos is the divine hand.

          Interesting thought. Order, as you suggest is self-fulfilling and automatic. In a dynamic system, self-similar patterns arise, constituting what we call order.

          Order is really just connecting the dots on a Chaotic field.

          Chaos is the divine hand, exactly!

          From the Tao:
          "The Way gave birth to unity, unity gave birth to duality, duality gave birth to trinity, trinity gave birth to the myriad creatures."

          From von Bertalanffy:
          "The Whole was created first. By looking into the Whole, some objects and relations among the objects become dominating, which in turn give birth to 'duality'. Now, the Whole, the collection of the objects and the entirety of the relations constitute the 'trinity'. This Trinity is the fundamental structure of all the things and beings in the universe."

          From Me:
          HOLOS = the Source
          XAOS = the Expression
          BIOS = the Fulfillment

            These ideas sound similar to those put forward by Jesus and practiced by those in gnostic community:

            Holos = The Source = God the Father
            Xaos = The Expression = The Holy Spirit
            Bios = The Fulfillment = The Son of Man

            Lately, Ive been grooving on the theory that the Tao, the Holy Spirit, and Chaos field are one and the same entity. Anyone else see this similarity?

              Hi Daniel-

              "Holos = The Source = God the Father
              Xaos = The Expression = The Holy Spirit
              Bios = The Fulfillment = The Son of Man

              Lately, Ive been grooving on the theory that the Tao, the Holy Spirit, and Chaos field are one and the same entity. Anyone else see this similarity?"

              Ooh! Yes!! <waving arms impatiently>

              I didn't know those words (no big surprise really!), but that sums up much of what I've been contemplating for the last few years or so - thanx!
              :)

              Yes, yes, yes. There is definitely the trinity pattern here. In discovering the HXB chaosphere, I was influenced by this thinking. You are on the right track. Get the book and work with it.

      H = X*B

      so,

      B*X = H

      ...

      This implies that HOLOS = ev'rything and no-thing, in all dimensions. HOLOS = pure potentiality. HOLOS = the Source of all Becoming. Chaos, or XAOS = the Expression = the Pattern = the Algorithm = the Working. And BIOS = the Fulfillment = the Mirror = the Computer within the Computer.

      And then cut through the B.S.:

      The source expresses itself through chaotic patterns of self-similar refraction as the self-reflective organism. The source is the creator. The organism has access to the creator through chaotic patterns. The mind of the Source is the mind of the Organism. The mind languages experience and MANIFESTATION through chaos.

      A subtle manipulation of chaotic symbolism (read hypersigil) can manifest desire.

    it is my relaxation. My mind...spends all of it's time tying loose ends together (never mind that the ends are from different threads) it solves puzzles and makes rules... one of the few mental breaks I get comes from overwhelming chaos, where even MY mind can realize there is no answer, no order - no possibility of order ...whew..it's great - makes me laugh and laugh

        it is the spark to the flame.
        it frightens and attracts.
        it is adored and shamed.
        it is formless and without fact.

        it is everywhere and nowhere, a key to reality and a form to illusion, a blessing and a curse.

        there is nothing, and nothing else.

    I "like" chaos because it is our mOther, nurturing (un)known source of no limit.

    I love/hate its existence without awareness that I cannot know & be it but only notice it.

    It is the only "thing" or "state" in which we cannot be, the only thing that is more than we, and it allows we to see and be (ob)scene; 0 to 1 as absolute infinite solvent, creator & destroyer.

    The observer is our shared connection - I like noticing chaos & being noticed by its effervescence.

      What an interesting thread. There is a book called 'The Social Theory of Magic by Daniel lawerence O'keefe that I like. The basic thing I remember from it is his idea that original Artist's create religons then followers copy the master. Thus the magic is strongest when
      it is a fresh freeform ritual hence the element of choas. Having lived floatsum and Jetsum
      most of my life, been held at gun point, been through car wreck, tornado, gay discharge discharge, housefire, Hurricane, earthquake, I have seen things happen because your fears manifest when held in mind, and things just happen without seeming cause because you are in that spot when the energy shifts for galatic reasons of it's own.
      My premise of how the mind works in the present moment millisecond by millisecond runs
      something like this Image fleshed by naming idea's and naming idea's can be an image x
      depth of desire and desire is split into focus of attention, i.e contemplation, consumption, digestion rejection or satisfaction and rejection can happen at anypoint in the sequence = thought into action into form. cycle repeats upon reaching satisfaction. The higher the lifeform the more multiple desires can be processed at the same time but for clarity one at a time in the present moment is best. the second part of desire is the klesha of emotion
      which shapes what is happening in the moment, example calm, anger, fear, joy etc.
      place this over e=mc2 or all matter on some level is energy vibrating fast or slow. Order then is slow methodical change, seeming disorder or Choas is sudden radical change.
      Change is the only constant. If one descends via visualization to the energy level of self, floating down from skin to the molecular level and then looks outward one becomes more sensitive to the energy fields around oneself. This is the feng shui of whereever you go there you are. The more composed in the present the clear your vision. We all are telling ourselves a story. I desire this I desire that pretty basicly binary from rising from sleep to settling back again. Where two stories intwine there is a struggle for dominance on any level. Whether it be a full blown religous system or a simple person to person exchange
      I hope my input is an offering of interest...peace t.f. this is where do as thou wilt and harm none applies no doubt.
